As a co-creator of the kids music show Staraoke he has also won an International Emmy. In addition to this, Saku Tuominen is one of the leading consultants in creativity in Finland giving lectures and consulting to many big companies. Saku Tuominen has written two books. One about creativity, How Ideas Are Born (2004) and one about dried pasta, Aglio & Olio (2007). As a hobby he has been writing rock critics for more than 20 years.

Originally managing Daft Punk (from 1996 to 2008) but also Cassius and Cosmo Vitelli, he started in 2003 his own Ed Banger Records imprint to phenomenal success. Artists like Justice, Mr Oizo, SebastiAn, Uffie or DJ Mehdi have all enjoyed international exposure, whereas the label's image and designs set by graphic designer So_Me is now a blueprint inspiration for youth culture all around the world. Ed Banger is now cited as a reference in viral/image/trendsetting development in the music business and beyond.
